Hepatitis Screen
If you have a concern about Hepatitis, Better2Know offer a Hepatitis (Acute) Screen. There are many different types of Hepatitis, the most common are Hepatitis A, B and C. This screen tests for the presence of a recent and active infections.
What does the screen test for?
The screen tests for:
- Hepatitis A
- Hepatitis B
- Hepatitis C

What samples are needed for this screen?
The sample needed for this screen is a blood test. There are no fasting required before this test, or any other Better2Know tests.
How will I get my results?
Better2Knows results team will contact you with your results, when they are all back from the laboratory. They will contact you on the method you have specified (phone call, email, SMS), when you made your initial booking. You can also log online to view your results.
What happens if I test positive?
If you test positive for any of the Hepatitis infections, we can help you. The body can react differently to the infection and also to the treatment you take. Better2Know will provide you with a referral to a specialist who will be able to help you further.
