Blemish Screen
The Blemish Screen is designed to test for the most common sexually transmitted infections that causes blemishes in the genital area. If you have a lump, wart, blister, rash or other blemish in your genital area, then this screen may be the right for you.
Which STIs are included?
The Blemish Screen tests for:
- Syphilis
- Herpes 1 and 2
- HPV (which includes Genital Warts)
If you are worried about other STIs, then you can add other tests to this screen. You may need to provide other samples such as blood or urine.
What samples do you take?
The clinician will take two swabs from the infected area, which are tested to see if your current symptoms are caused by the STIs we test for.
How do I get my results?
Your results will be available on line as they come in. We will send you an email or SMS when they are all ready.
