The Better2Know Comprehensive Hepatitis Diagnostic Panel will identify acute and chronic infections with the Hepatitis A, B, C and E viruses. These viruses are common and can lead to significant liver problems and if left undiagnosed and untreated can result in death.

Which STIs are tested for?

Our Comprehensive Hepatitis Diagnostic Panel tests for: Hepatitis A Hepatitis B Hepatitis C Hepatitis E You can also add other STIs that you may want to include (for example HIVor Herpes Simplex) at our additional test rate.

Which samples are needed?

The Comprehensive Hepatitis Diagnostic Panel needs a blood sample. There are no painful or embarrassing swabs. There are no fasting requirements for this test. Our trained clinician will take two small tubes of blood from your arm.

How do I get my results?

We will notify you as soon as your results are ready. When you make your booking with us, you will be asked to please specify how you would like to be notified. We can send you an email or send you an SMS text. All your test results will be uploaded on your private patient area of our website and only you will be able to access your results using your unique access codes. If you would like to receive your results in a different way, please just let us know and we will seek to meet your needs.

What if I test positive?

We will help you. We have a team of Doctors that we will refer you to who will be able to get you the advice and any treatment necessary. Most cases of Hepatitis will resolve satisfactory on their own, but they do all require careful monitoring and follow up.
